First things first – collecting materials! I am lucky to have a roommate who used to embroider and had plenty of thread to donate to my project. I have one embroidery hoop to begin my project with, along with embroidery needles and a few old t-shirts to serve as blank canvases.
Upon seeing the variety of colours of thread, my mind immediately started creating different colour palettes. I’m excited to begin my research!

Getting your materials sorted is such an integral part to crafting. I would love to connect all our classmates that are doing crafty inquiry projects to create a cohort craft night. A place were we can all encourage and support each other on our crafting explorations!
